Artist Statement:

My work seeks a receptive presence over complexity. Context and vibrant matter create a natural point of focus for process. Technically, I work to combine different materials, concepts and/or chemical processes.

The culmination of years spent field-recording border zones revealed violence, instability, and fear, but also poignancy, hope, and procession. This serves as a metaphor for all process; the act of holding dualities, not against one another, but in communion.[/az_column_text][az_blank_divider height_value=”40″][az_special_heading content_heading=”Q2hlcmlzaCUyMEluZmx1ZW5jZQ==” heading_type=”4″ heading_style=”default” heading_align=”textalignleft” padding_bottom_heading=”30″ animation_loading=”no” animation_loading_effects=”fade_in”]
